Mary & Martha House
Seeking Volunteers
Calling all seasonal residents. Looking
for a place to volunteer your skills and
talents? Come help us out right here in
Ruskin at The Mary and Martha House.
Help is needed in The Thrift Store,
Administrative Office and in various
locations throughout Ruskin. We need
help sorting donations, cleaning and
stocking shelves, yard work or let us
know your particular talent and we’ll
put you to work. The Thrift Store and
Administrative Office are located at
1009 1st Street SW in Ruskin. The Thrift
Store sells new and gently used clothing
for men, women and children, as well as
furniture and household items. The store
is open Wed. Thurs. Fri. from 8AM to 3
PM and Saturday from 8 AM to Noon. The
Mary & Martha House Inc. is a shelter
for women and children in crisis, and
supports 2 emergency shelters as well as
transitional housing in South
Hillsborough County. For more info on

and non-members to submit announcements of important non-Chamber

Clearly state the charity/cause

To have an event listed
here email your one-paragraph announcement to
the Chamber office at
abeachchamber@tampabay.rr.com. We’ll post
your event as quickly as we can. The
Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce does reserve
the right to edit or refuse listing of events here based
on decisions of our Editorial Committee.
